'Butter Tablet' is the Scottish version of fudge. Traditionally made with sugar, butter and condensed milk, it has a texture and flavour all its own. We called on our neighbours, Ross's from Edinburgh, to supply us with their authentic Scottish tablet for this bar. They have been making Scottish sweets for over 130 years and their tablet is deliciously creamy with a lovely buttery flavour. We have combined the tablet with a mixture of white and 'gold' chocolate. Gold chocolate is white chocolate made with caramelised sugar and caramelised milk, and has rich notes of toffee, butter, cream and a hint of salt. The golden fudge colour also makes this bar look uncannily like a tablet!

A perfect bar if you have a sweet tooth: this bar is sweetness with a capital S!

Scottish Butter Tablet: Ingredients: White chocolate with caramel: Cocoa butter, sugar, whole MILK powder, MILK sugar, whey powder (MILK), skimmed MILK powder, caramelised sugar (2%), emulsifier: SOYA lecithin, natural vanilla flavouring, salt. (Min. cocoa 30%); White chocolate: sugar, cocoa butter, whole MILK powder, emulsifier (E322): SOYA lecithin (E322), flavouring: natural vanilla. Cocoa solids minimum 28%, MILK solids minimum 21%. Ross's of Edinburgh Scottish Tablet: sugar, glucose syrup, condensed MILK, BUTTER (4%), fondant (sugar, glucose syrup, water); Sunflower lecithin.
