Make your own Bourbon with wood chips from used American Bourbon barrels. After adding a clear liqueur such as Vodka or Dry Gin, the wood chips will slowly release their flavor and color as if your liqueur is maturing in a Bourbon barrel!
- Add liqueur other than Bourbon or Whisky > 30% ALC/VOL
- Store in a cool/dark place for at least 8 weeks
- Filter before drinking, never eat the wood chips

How do you make it?
This bottle allows you to transform a clear liqueur into Bourbon. The wood chips in the bottle come from chipped American Bourbon barrels that have been used to make Bourbon for decades. Although the chips are small, they still contain a lot of sweet Bourbon flavor. This flavor is released after adding a clear liqueur, as if you were aging your liqueur in a Bourbon barrel.
1 Add liqueur
You start by adding a clear liqueur, such as Vodka or Dry Gin. Always make sure that the liqueur contains at least 30% alcohol. Do not add Bourbon or Whiskey, as this will have little effect. Write on the label the date of bottling and the type of liqueur you used. If possible, try to use leftover liqueur that you have at home.
2 The ripening process
After filling your bottle, let it mature in a cool, dark place. The wood chips will slowly begin to release their sweet Bourbon flavor and warm color. Feel free to taste occasionally to experience how the flavors develop over time. This process takes about eight weeks, but feel free to explore what happens if you let it mature longer.
3 Serve your own Bourbon
After eight weeks, it's time to serve your own bourbon. Filter or pour the liquor carefully before drinking. Be careful not to pour wood chips into your glass. Also, never eat the wood chips.
